ABC company wants to process some large data simultaneously, as an IT professional device efficient storage technology that will be better for the company in terms of cost and efficiency to process such large data concurrently.

According to the GDB question, we have to choose the best device for the company in terms of cost and efficiency to work. So, I will prefer SSDs. There are following some differences.

Hard Disk Drive (HDDs):

·    HDDs are legacy storage technology that use spinning disks to read/write data.

·       HDDs are priced lower than SSDs.

·       HDDs speed slower than SSDs.

·       HDDs highest capacity range from 40GB to 12TB.

·       It uses more energy.

·       HDDs are good for storing lots of large files.

 

Solid State Drive (SSDs):

·       SSDs are incredibly faster, lighter, and more power efficient than HDDs.

·       SSD prices are dropping.

·       SSD highest capacity range from 160GB to 4TB.

·       It uses less energy.

·         SSD technology is used to read/write easily.
